DCCCA’s
current projects include:
- Options
Adult Services of Wichita providing detoxification, residential
intermediate care, reintegration and outpatient and intensive
outpatient services for adult males
- Women’s
Recovery Centers-two residential treatment programs for women
and their young children in Wichita and Hoisington
- First
Step at Lake View in Lawrence, a residential treatment and reintegration program for chemically-dependent
women and their children
- Family
Preservation Services under contract with the Kansas
Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS). The program
is responsible for families throughout Eastern Kansas
whose children are at high risk of foster care placement
- Three
sexual abuse treatment institutional programs for the Kansas Department
of Corrections
- Statewide
community-based sex offender treatment for the Kansas Department
of Corrections
- The
Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office, funded by the Kansas Department
of Transportation, is a statewide program providing public education, information, technical assistance, research and evaluation aimed at reducing the incidence of alcohol-related crashes, underage drinking and increasing seat belt use in Kansas.
- The
East Central Kansas Regional Prevention Center coordinating community-based
prevention programs in seven counties, funded by SRS
- Outpatient
treatment services in Great Bend, Lawrence and Wichita, KS
- Coordination
of effort and evaluation for alcohol tax recipients in Douglas
County, Kansas
- An
Evaluation Services Department with current contracts throughout
Kansas, including two statewide observational safety belt surveys
- Elm
Acres – a multi site provider of alcohol and drug treatment
services for youth, other residential services for youth and foster
care services in Southeast Kansas
- Child Placing Agency services recruit, train, and sponsor resource families across Kansas and currently have resource homes located throughout Kansas
