Addiction Treatment Programming

DCCCA, Inc. has provided quality substance abuse treatment services for over 35 years. Our statewide network offers licensed facilities and certified addiction counselors to accommodate the unique needs of our customers.

We believe that chemical dependency and addiction are diseases that are treatable, and that the progression of the disease can be influenced by and through treatment. We also believe that each person has assets and strengths which may be enhanced through counseling and education, assisting him or her in developing alternatives to chemical use and abuse.

Individuals needing substance abuse treatment come to us in a variety of ways. Some recognize the need to gain control of their lives and make the first call themselves. Some are referred by family members, friends, physicians, or others who are concerned about them. Others may come in contact with the criminal justice system or SRS and encouraged to complete a treatment program or face more drastic consequences. Regardless of how they arrive, our customers are met with no preconceived judgment, a caring heart and support to begin their recovery journey.

All DCCCA treatment programs are licensed by the Office of Addiction and Prevention Services (a division of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services) and credentialed by Value Options of Kansas (Medicaid). Many of our programs hold contracts with the Kansas Sentencing Commission and SRS for the Fourth Time DUI Initiative. Treatment interventions used in each program are evidenced based, best practices as established by the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Funding for a customer’s treatment may come from a variety of sources, including Medicaid XIX (for covered individuals), social service agreements, private insurance or self-pay arrangements. Customers who have incomes less than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines may be eligible to have their treatment reimbursed through state or federal funding. Payment arrangements are determined during an individual’s initial appointment. Customers are encouraged to bring a copy of their medical insurance card and proof of income.

Potential customers seeking services at DCCCA must first complete a substance abuse assessment to determine the appropriate level of treatment to meet their needs. Individuals whose treatment will be funded by Medicaid or state dollars must also provide proof of residency, such as a state issued picture ID, social security card, or birth certificate.

Initial assessments and payment determinations may be completed at any DCCCA program location. Assessments may also be completed at one of the Regional Alcohol and Drug Assessment Centers (RADAC).

Begin your recovery journey with DCCCA – treatment works if you work it!
