Options Adult Services, a program of DCCCA, Inc., provides a comprehensive model of substance abuse treatment for adult males. Located in Wichita, Options customers come primarily from Sedgwick County, but are accepted from referral sources state-wide.

Treatment Interventions
Options’ treatment continuum includes non-medical detoxification, intensive short term residential stay, extended residential services to prepare for re-entry into the community, and a continuum of outpatient programs. Intervention strategies are based on the Twelve Step model of recovery, combined with cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and strengths based approaches.

Non-medical, emergency detoxification allows an individual to safely manage withdrawal under constant supervision. Intensive, short term residential treatment has as its goal the stabilization and education of substance addicted men in an intensively structured and therapeutically controlled environment. Case management services are implemented to assist the customer in linking with community-based services that can help explore mental health concerns, establish vocational and/or educational progress, and address physical health needs.

Extended residential services allow customers to work during the day, attend individual and group therapies in the evening, and participate in Twelve Step support groups. Outpatient services focus on supporting long term recovery through education, therapy and relapse prevention. Men engaged in outpatient treatment may choose between morning or evening groups, accommodating work, family or school schedules.

Specialized Services for Criminal Justice Referrals
Options Adult Services has a history of providing successful treatment interventions for men with felony or misdemeanor charges or convictions, as well as those with pending legal issues. Options works in partnership with court services, state probation, and federal probation professionals to design individualized treatment stays that address both a customer’s recovery and restitution needs. Options reserves the right to deny admission to individuals with sexual offense or current arrest warrants.
