DCCCA FAQ's
What does
DCCCA stand for?
DCCCA began operations in Lawrence, Kansas
in the summer of 1974 as the Douglas County Citizens Committee on
Alcoholism. Over the years, we became known locally as DCCCA.
In 1989, our legal name was changed to DCCCA by our Board of
Directors. This change was prompted by our program delivery
outside of Douglas County and our program growth to include services
for problems other than alcoholism.
What is the
best way to get help for a problem?
The services section of the website provides
specific contact information on each of our programs.
Additionally, information is provided which describes the type of
services that are available at each site. Using that
information, you can contact the program that best meets your needs
directly.
How do I find
out about available job openings?
The career section of the website provides our
most current listings of available positions at DCCCA locations.
