DCCCA, Inc. was founded in Lawrence, KS as the Douglas
County Citizens Committee on Alcoholism and was incorporated
as a non-profit agency in 1974. In 1989 our name was
shortened to DCCCA, Inc. to include all the program
services we provide across Kansas and Colorado.
Currently, DCCCA employs over
500 people in:

DCCCA is interested in being your child
placing agency sponsor and working with you in partnership
to provide services to Kansas children in need of out-of-home
placement.
Goals:
DCCCA, Inc. provides a variety of human
services to improve the safety, health and well being
of adults, children and youth.
- To provide services to support families
in providing a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment
for children and families in their homes.
- To provide a safe, stable and caring
environment to children and youth who are no longer
able to remain in their home.
- To reduce and prevent alcohol and
drug abuse by providing information, education, prevention,
treatment, rehabilitation, training and research activities
to appropriate target populations and individuals.
- To provide counseling, therapy and
case management services to improve conditions
that contribute to unsafe and unhealthy lifestyles.
- To collect and disseminate practical
information, education and training to prevent conditions
that contribute to unsafe and unhealthy lifestyles.
- To advance the leadership, coordination
and research into the efficient and effective use
of systems to promote safe and healthy lifestyles.
