2019 Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit

Join us on June 25th at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lawrence, KS for the Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit to increase your knowledge of behavioral health prevention and engage in the process of improving your community.

This summit is a one-day interactive event which will include keynote presentations, round table discussions, and break-out sessions on a variety of relevant behavioral health topics. The Douglas County Behavioral Health Prevention Summit is designed to guide participants through practical strategies and create valuable networks while pursuing a plan for behavioral health prevention in their communities. Specific topics of focus will include opioid, marijuana, suicide, tobacco/vaping, and alcohol prevention. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in round table discussions about how we move our communities forward and improve the lives of those we serve.

Summit Accreditation:

Continuing education credits may be available for the following: physicians, nurses, social workers, EMS, educators, and law enforcement. A general continuing education certificate of attendance for 6.0 credit hours will be provided to all participants.

This summit is accredited for the following continuing education credit hours by specialty: 5.0 CME, 6.0 CNE, and 6.0 SW.
