DCCCA is providing free naloxone (Narcan) nasal spray and training to community organizations and any Kansas resident. DCCCA is funded for this project by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) through the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant initiative from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Naloxone is an opioid overdose reversal drug that counteracts the life-threatening effects of an opioid overdose. Naloxone is available to any resident or organization in Kansas upon request.
Training on naloxone administration is available at no cost to you or your organization.
If you are not interested in scheduling a group training, register to attend one of the monthly webinars that are open to the public.
You also have the option to complete the training online via the self-paced module.
