Visit the Kansas Prevention Collaborative
DCCCA operates two prevention programs in Kansas funded through grants from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).
DCCCA is participating in the Kansas Prevention Collaborative’s Behavioral Health and Technical Assistance program. The Kansas Prevention Collaborative was created in an effort to integrate and innovate behavioral health prevention efforts across the state of Kansas.
The Kansas Partnerships for Success project prevents and reduces the incidence of prescription drug misuse and abuse among individuals ages 12-24 in high-risk, high need areas across the state. The project also increases public knowledge and understanding about the consequences associated with prescription drug misuse and abuse.
DCCCA believes strongly in the mission of both preventative measures and is excited to be involved in these new initiatives.
