DCCCA Topeka is home to the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office and members of START (Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Teams) which is part of the Family First Prevention Services Act that established prevention programs focused on keeping families together. Staff provide public information and education to protect citizens from avoidable injury or death on roadways with a focus on: Occupant Protection, Impaired Driving, Novice Drivers, Distracted Driving, Older Drivers, Motorcycle Safety, and Underage Drinking.
