Jimmy McGill
– Keynote Speaker
Jimmy McGill is an author, speaker, and the Executive Director of Next Step Recovery Housing.
From 2018 to 2023, he served as the Director of Peer and Recovery Services for the State of Arkansas, where he used his lived experience to help lead the development and expansion of recovery services throughout the state.
He is also the founding chairman of the National Association of Reentry Professionals.
After overcoming childhood trauma, years of incarceration, and twenty-three years of addiction, Jimmy found purpose in the very experiences that once threatened to destroy him.
Today, he uses his story, leadership, and advocacy to transform recovery and reentry efforts across Arkansas and throughout the country.
