This course is designed to prepare attendees for first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

The Kansas Prescription Drug and Opioid Advisory Committee present the Community of Practice Education Series. Topics will include a variety of substance use prevention resources and strategies.

This course provides an overview of several important ethical issues that social workers, counselors, and other behavioral health professionals may face.  It is designed to heighten general awareness of legal and ethical concerns, including models for ethical decision making, multiple relationships (intentional/unintentional) and information concerning minor patients.

DCCCA’s Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS) addresses the consequences of alcohol and drug misuse and fulfills the first time DUI offense requirement for the state of Kansas.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. During this training, participants will learn how to recognize suicide warning signs, intervene with QPR, and how to offer emotional support while making an expert referral.
