QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. During this training, participants will learn how to recognize suicide warning signs, intervene with QPR, and how to offer emotional support while making an expert referral.
CPR, First Aid, & Naloxone Training Oklahoma
This course is designed to prepare attendees for first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Attendees will also learn how to administer Naloxone in opioid overdose emergencies and will receive a Naloxone kit.
GLS Suicide Prevention Trainer Summit
This one-day summit is an opportunity for anyone in Kansas who is a facilitator in any suicide prevention trainings. Throughout the day, participants will hear from experts in suicide prevention and have a chance to collaborate and build relationships with other trainers across the state.
Adult Mental Health First Aid (Kansas)
This training is for those individuals who work with fellow aged adults at work on a regular basis and would like to learn how to help support these individuals through a variety of early intervention, worsening situations, and crisis.
