QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. During this training, participants will learn how to recognize suicide warning signs, intervene with QPR, and how to offer emotional support while making an expert referral.

This course is designed to prepare attendees for first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Attendees will also learn how to administer Naloxone in opioid overdose emergencies and will receive a Naloxone kit.

Speakers in each session will discuss strategies and experiences regarding how to support the needs of the community through the different lenses of Prevention, Treatment & Recovery, Law Enforcement and Intervention with unique voices of their professional experience.

Attendees can enjoy free activities, including yoga, lawn games, demonstrations, and other interactive experiences for families and youth of all ages.

This training is for those individuals who work with fellow aged adults on a regular basis and would like to learn how to help support these individuals through a variety of early intervention, worsening situations, and crisis.
