I understand that if I am offered an internship with DCCCA, the internship placement is contingent upon satisfactory completion of the following requisite background checks and other screenings: Background checks including criminal history records and driving records; reference and employment verification; a mandatory drug screen (per requirements of applicable State law where employee will work); fingerprint-based records search (if required); and approval by Human Resources. The internship placement offer may be rescinded if a background check or other screen discloses information that affects the hiring decision or if final approval is not received from Human Resources.
