Mental Health First Aid Oklahoma (MHFA OK) is a DCCCA prevention program funded in part by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. MHFA OK provides Mental Health First Aid trainings virtually and in-person across the State of Oklahoma, working to serve all communities and sectors. We offer the standard curriculums of Adult MHFA and Youth MHFA in addition to the community-specific trainings for a variety of sectors. Through the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, MHFA OK provides all courses free of cost to Oklahoma organizations, businesses and individuals.

Join more than 2.6 million Americans nationwide who have been trained to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge. Mental Health First Aid teaches participants a five-step action plan (ALGEE) to support someone developing signs and symptoms of a mental illness or experiencing a variety of crises. Through this internationally renowned and evidence-based training, participants earn a three-year certification.
