Alcohol Drug Information School – Pittsburg

DCCCA’s Alcohol and Drug Information School (ADIS) addresses the consequences of alcohol and drug misuse and fulfills the first time DUI offense requirement for the state of Kansas. This 8-hour class is completed in two days and is held monthly. Topics include: short-term and long-term consequences of various substances, blood alcohol content (BAC) levels, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, and the science behind the effects of cannabis.

This class costs $85 and will be held from Noon to 4 pm on consecutive weeks (see calendar or registration confirmation for verification of dates). One payment will allow the participant to have access for both sessions. Your payment is non-refundable. However, if there are not enough participants enrolled in a class, we may roll you into the next class available. You will be Notified Via E-mail.

*** PLEASE NOTICE THAT THE PITTSBURG ADIS CLASS IS SPLIT INTO TWO 4-HOUR SESSIONS (8 HOURS TOTAL), WHICH OCCUR ON CONSECUTIVE WEEKS.  THE FIRST PART OF THE CLASS WILL OCCUR ON THE DATE FOR WHICH YOU ARE REGISTERING.  THE SECOND PART OF THE CLASS WILL OCCUR THE FOLLOWING WEEK. ***

Participants must be able to participate with webcam and microphone, including polls, discussions, watching videos, and complete a course evaluation.

You will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link after registration.

You must attend both parts of the class to complete and receive a certificate. Certificates of completion will be provided upon completion of the class the next business day.

It is the sole responsibility of the individual to provide proof of completion of the ADIS class to any referring agency or court.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE CLASS
