DCCCA welcomes Chris Singleton for DCCCA United

DCCCA invited motivational speaker Chris Singleton to share a message of unity and overcoming adversity during the agency’s annual staff event, DCCCA United. The event will take place Wednesday, September 14 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lawrence at 10 a.m.

“We are excited to host Chris and hear his message of hope and valuing experiences and differences,” DCCCA CEO Lori Alvarado said. “DCCCA provides a variety of services across four states to clients, families and communities with diverse experiences, perspectives and needs. When we appreciate and engage the diversity of our staff we more creatively and effectively deploy our mission – improving lives.”

About Chris Singleton: Chris is a former professional athlete drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2017. Following the loss of his mother in a racially motivated mass shooting, Chris has now become an inspirational speaker and best- selling author who has shared his message of overcoming adversity and becoming united. His story has reached more than 80 organizations annually and 100,000 students worldwide. Website: https://www.chrissingleton.com/
