Mental Health First Aid Kansas – Request a Training

Request a Training

Besides the monthly training DCCCA puts on for the general Kansas audience, a private training for your organization can be requested if you would like many in your agency to become certified in MHFA.

We offer the following training styles:

Blended/Virtual

Blended/In-Person

Full In-Person

A side-by-side comparison of run time and details of each course method is as follows:

Blended/Virtual

This course will have 2 hours of online pre work within MHFA Connect that learners will have approximately 2 weeks to complete. Day of the training will be on zoom live with your MHFA trainers. The total time for the live virtual training day is 7.5 hours including breaks and lunch.

Blended/In-Person

This course will have 2 hours of online pre work within MHFA Connect that learners will have approximately 2 weeks to complete. You will meet at the course’s specified location for the live in person training day. The length of in person training is approximately 7.5 hours including breaks and lunch.

Full In-Person

This course’s prework will be built into the full training day as your first activity. The length of a full in person training is approximately 9 hours including breaks and lunch.
