Sharing internet with everyone in the house. Dealing with teachers in a virtual world. Finding privacy in your own home! The COVID-19 era creates a whole new set of challenges for taking care of ourselves. Are you noticing certain things that drive you crazy during social distancing? Exercising leadership effectively requires knowing yourself first! In this interactive session, you’ll consider your strengths, vulnerabilities and triggers and build a toolkit for how you can manage yourself in tough situations.

The internet, common apps and social media sites often have a role in targeting, recruiting, grooming and advertising victims of exploitation. This session will discuss common tactics used by perpetrators to target vulnerable youth for commercial sex and other forms of exploitation. In addition, red flags and recommendations for staying safe online will also be shared.
