DCCCA understands that healthy, active people are happier and more productive at work. Self-care is especially important to people working in human services.
Our Living Well program focuses on encouraging employees and their families to develop healthy minds, bodies, and spirits by providing helpful information, opportunities, and reminders of yearly exams.
Health fairs are held at each of our main locations annually during benefit meetings. Employees have access to flu shots and health screenings courtesy of DCCCA.
All of DCCCA’s facilities are smoke-free environments. We offer Smoking Cessation programs to any employee or their immediate family member who wants to end their smoking addiction.
Our employees team up and compete against each other annually as a part of the Walk Kansas. This friendly competition encourages employees to get up and stay active while building healthy eating habits.
DCCCA’s Living Well team also shares recipe ideas and cooking tips for clean eating and a well balanced diet on the company Intranet.
